The Sam recommended The Time Traveler's Wife, and I am so glad that she did. While I'm always a little behind the trend curve, I had actually heard many good things about the book, but never really expected to read it. I've said here before that I don't much care for science fiction. It gives me a headache.
I absolutely LOVED this book. When you're late to a trend party, you often come off sounding ridiculous and I'm sure there are plenty of people who find the story lacking in some major area.
It is my personal opinion that those people have hearts of stone. While the book is not a particularly quick read, I finished it in just a couple of days. I would read whenever I had even a few seconds to spare and would think about the book constantly when I wasn't reading it. There was hardly ever a time I picked up the book and didn't find myself crying obviously enough that it was causing a scene.
I have already recommended this book to a few people I know who haven't read it yet. And now I am recommending it to you, too.
Note: I am not mentioning the plot of this book because I am very bad about giving too much away. Andiclaus wants to read the book but now knows all the ins-and-outs because I cannot keep my trap shut.
I finished that book a few weeks ago and loved it too! I actually posted about it on BAMF's! That is one on my top 10 list for sure!

Great read! One I would actually consider reading again, which says a lot, I am not a re-reader :)

I LOVE that book, so much. I've read it at least 6 times and I sob every time.

I read this a few years ago and LOVED it. And also bawled like crazy. I keep seeing it mentioned again here and there, so I think I smell a re-reading coming up soon...

I read about 100 pages of this book and then put it down. I could not get into it at all. Maybe I need to give it another try.
