I do not believe a blogger of my caliber (read: crappy) really needs to explain or apologize for absences from the web. Y'all will be able to continue on your day to day journey without knowing if Alliclaus' diaper rash cleared up (it did) or if I'm doing well on Weight Watchers (I am) or how many hours I spent playing Mario Kart yesterday (approximately eleventy billion).
But when I don't say anything for awhile, I feel the restlessness creep in. So, I am stopping in briefly to say that I am not hiatusing (?) from blogging right now; I am simply trying to get my damn homework done. I have put a policy in place in my home that I am not allowed to write a blog entry or even read blogs (!!!) until I get at least one homework assignment done daily. This is very hard. And so far it has not been working all that well (see: Mario Kart).
Also, I have three baby blankets that I should have had done weeks ago (not to mention the lovely ladies who had babies recently whose blankets I simply gave up on - I'm sorry). I believe I will be back to regular blogging sometime in late 2008. Or when the tremors get so bad that I have to get a fix.
If I can get a seven-page paper done this afternoon during Alliclaus' nap, I am so totally going to blog about...hmm. Well, I'm sure I'll think of something. Do you want to hear about the implications and key concerns of Wesley's class meeting? No? Gah, you guys really know how to ruin a party.
Yes, yes, Wesley, please....!
If you're not blogging, how are the rest of us supposed to avoid our lives????????? It is--ahem, dare I say this--your Christian duty.....

you so totally amaze me, lady. you balance so much in your life, and you're still here with us to talk about it. i think that's awesome. take your time and do what you need - whether that's homework or blogging or sleeping or whatever. we all love you just the same no matter what. :)
