I had great plans for posting today. I have at least five posts on various burners, including a couple of memes I've been tagged for, an awesome dedication to Sarah, and a post about the crazy girl at church who insists on comparing her baby to mine, but only minutes after my husband left me with Alliclaus for the evening, I felt the unmistakable first signs of (dun dun DUUUUN) food poisoning.
Awesome. So now that Alliclaus is in bed, I will be laying down and praying that the torture will end soon.

Update: Ack! I totally forgot to tell you! Alliclaus is totally drinking out of a straw now. Praise the Lord, because I was starting to have nightmares about bottle battles reaching well into toddlerhood. Nuby, you are my beverage lifesaver! Also, you seem to think Alliclaus is highly advanced an should only be able to drink out of a straw AFTER a spout. Let's go with that, shall we?
As you know, I'm all for the straw. Besides, it's healthier for the teeth, since the liquid is directed towards the back of the mouth, instead of the back of the teeth themselves.

oh oh oh, aren't those cups the best?? That's what Lady used when she made her foray into sippy cups. They leak though so be careful- we learned that the hard way. And yes, Alliclaus and Lady are clearly highly advanced. There is no other explanation for why the straw before the spout.
FEEL BETTER. Yuck.

I can drink out of a straw too!!!
I cannot believe she is crawling and drinking out of a straw! I have missed so much and ithas only been three months!

oops, I forgot.....Sucks to your food poisoning. I say eat all the fatty foods you can, you'll throw them up therefore not gaining any weight and throwing up burns calories, its called the Olson diet.

How did you get her to drink out of a straw? Rylan chews on the straw and chews on the sippy tops of every kind available. He drinks out of a plain cup (with me holding it) but a little independence would be lovely!
