So Joshiclaus is getting married. To Sarah.
They're making it official.
No, not their union. Ours.
Sarah and I have for years dealt with this question: "So that's your sister?"
And how would we really explain? Not technically, no. We aren't sisters the way you mean. But if I were asked to describe who Sarah is, does "best friend" really cut it? I think not.
So now (well a year and a half from now, but who's counting? - I will be as soon as they set the exact date, that's who) we will be able to just smile and say, "Yes."
Just don't call her my sister-in-law. That's not how we roll.
Congrats, Sarah! You too, Josué.
congrats to both you and your sister! i totally get the family connections that are hard to explain. i have two "brothers" and one "sister" that are in no way legally related to me. but that doesn't matter to us at all. :)

That is very exciting. How cool that your best friend is marrying your husband's twin. Now you're not just family, you'll legally be family too!

Congrats to Josh and Sarah!! And I think it is great that your 'sister' will finally be your legit sister! Next thing you know, you will be looking for a little cousin for Alliclaus to play with!

thanks Beth! Wait until we have to explain to everyone how this whole little web works, especially when we have the same last name!
