Finally, one baby blanket done. Too bad the baby's already been born!
Dietrich Wesley is the new baby boy of some of our friends from college. His mom's blog chronicles her trip through medical school.

This blanket was actually easy but very time consuming. If you look closely, you can see from pictures on this site that I've been working on it since Alliclaus was born.

She likes it.
I like this blanket quite a lot. It's one of those blankets that I wish I had made for Alliclaus, but probably won't make for another baby because it just takes so damn long.
I went to JoAnn's (they were having a sale!) and got yarn for three more blankets! One is coming to a blogger near you soon!
This is beautiful!! How how how did you make it??

How beautiful! Next to my great grandmother's afghans, this is probably the prettiest piece of crocheted work EVER! Great job!

You really have a great skill. My gram can knit and crochet and I just never had the patience to learn it from her. It really is a lost art and you do it beautifully!

This is so beautiful. I love how crisp and clean it looks done in white yarn. I can see the vision of the pattern looking very modern if done in brighter colors. It's very classy.
Man, you are talented!!
