After an exhausting week, we Clauses loaded up into the car and drove to Lake of the Ozarks for the weekend. It was about a three-hour drive and Alliclaus did great. (I even did well, which is a huge deal considering how I usually weather car trips.) We stayed at the Lodge of Four Seasons, which was very nice.

Here are the loves of my life, in front of the lake.
We had a nice time up at the Lake, although most of my company's activities were geared toward single people and young married couples, or folks with older children. Because of that, we spent a great deal of time just hanging out in our room.
Friday night, we had a steak dinner and then relaxed while the singles went on a Booze Cruise and the older kids watched a movie poolside.
Saturday, we spent most of the day just hanging out enjoying the lack of chores that comes with staying in a hotel. Andiclaus watched Alliclaus for a couple of hours while I went to the spa and had a fantastic Swedish massage. I haven't had a massage since I've been married and it was AWESOME! I would have driven all that way just for a free massage.

The pool had a very cute waterfall area.
On Sunday morning before leaving, we dunked Alliclaus' little feet in the pool so that...I'm not really sure why we did it, but it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

This picture is oddly shaped because hello to my white cellulite thighs. Why did I let Sarah convince me to buy shorts?
That pool looks so nice--I would definitely want to dip my toes in there. And a massage!! Craig gave me a massage and mani/pedi for my 30th birthday--it was heaven! I think it is time to get another one!

That is one hot mama! I love her suit! That sounds like a really fun family weekend get away. That's great that your work does fun things like that - I wish mine did the same. She is seriously getting cuter by the day! Great pics with dad!

That last picture is adorable, but she does kind of have that "Mom, why are you doing this to me?" look on her face. Too cute.
