The new modern torture device for Spring: breastfeeding.
Here at the North Pole we are officially done with the traditional mouth to nipple breastfeeding method.
I am positive this makes me a horrible mother, so please feel free to keep your thoughts to that effect to yourself.
Between my low supply and Alliclaus' laidback (read lazy) feeding method, we are not becoming successful quickly enough for me to maintain my composure (read sanity). I have had more than a few minor psychic breaks in the last few days over this and it seems that the only solution to ending those is ending the behavior that is inspiring them.
So to the pump I go.
It's a good thing she's so damn cute.
Sorry to hear to breastfeeding isn't working out. My sister tried with both her kids and neither time did it work for her. She really is a precious little one!

I'm sorry to hear it isn't working out for you. But I'm glad you havn't decided to go to formula. Pumping is a very wise decision for your baby.

i cannot say for sure, but i think it may be a crime punishable by law for a child to be that cute and sweet and lovely. you must spend every minute just loving her to pieces!

Good for you for doing what's best for your baby. And as for formula, I have yet to see it claim any fatalities. In fact, there's no way to tell the difference between breastfed babies and formula-fed babies, so while I'm sure the benefits are there, in the end, it's just gravy.

Not that I have children, but I'm totally for the breast milk (mostly because of the cost). I would still consider it breast feeding, just with an extra step.

Sorry that breast feeding is so stressful for you. I had no problems with the breast feeding or the pumping while at work...although it did get a little annoying. Breast milk is best so pump away girl, you will have amazing tone in your forearms!

I had an AWFUL time with LilZ but its gone easy as pie with NikkiZ - so you never know!!
(and you're a soldier for going to the pump, with LilZ I went to formula)
