Why Do I Never Get A Flu Shot?

Every year I say I'm going to get a flu shot. Every year something prevents me from getting one. Guess what I get instead?

And here I am again with the fever and the aches and the stuffiness and the general yuckiness of the flu. I'm such an idiot!

Yesterday I called in sick to work, thinking it would be the worst day. I was wrong. Today is the worst day (so far). I went into the office for about an hour to take care of things that can only be done with access to the network and then came home to work from here. I end up working a lot harder from home than from work most of the time. I only came home because I have a fever and didn't want to spread the flu all over the office, although from what I hear, I got this flu from one of my oh-so-considerate coworkers who came in when she was sick, so there you go.

I only have another fifteen minutes of work and then I am reporting to bed.

Why do I blog more when I'm sick? Am I just looking for sympathy? Yes. So give it to me please. I love you guys.

Flu shot Smu shot ! Just rub VapoRub all over your body everyday and you will have nothing to worry about! And a slight tingly sensation everywhere, so its a win win!

Hope you get better! I am surprised your doctor didn't give you one during one of your pre-natal visits. Mine did. BTW, you will definitely want to get one next year so your little one will be protected. when are you due? Babies can't get them until they are at least 6 months old.

Yikes - Who's that with all the lecturing??? Oops, that's ME. Sorry. I am big stickler for public health.
