This morning on the Today Show, they brought up the fact that President Bush's spying extended to Quaker meeting houses. Pat Buchanan said, "I don't think they ought to be in the Quaker meeting houses. They don't have the time."
The Quakers are among the most impotant religious groups in this country's history. Their stances against slavery and war have been the most consistent among major religious sects. I'm sorry if Pat Buchanan thinks that Quakers are too slow to act, but I don't think that making fun of Quakers on national television endears you to Americans.
Whay do they give that man air time? And why is it they don't give all other looney tunes air time, just him?????????
If your going to have crazy people on tv lets gte some real nutcases that say funny things.

I saw that. I thought he was being a jerk about that, but I also kind of thought it was funny when he and the lady they had on started arguing at the end of the segment.
