Well, it has officially been two years. It's hard to believe, que no? Sometimes it seems like our wedding was only yesterday, but I can't really remember what my life was like before you.

I have been so blessed to be with you. You support all my crazy ideas (including dropping out and changing my degree program...once a week) and encourage me when I believe that effecting real change in the world is impossible.

I always assumed that getting married would mean having to compromise not only on the things I wanted but on who I was. Instead, being married to you has allowed me to safely explore who I am and what I want our family to say to the world.

I am so proud of the way we have shaped our family. I can't believe that we have a little girl coming who will also be shaped by us. I guess we'll see how feasible it is to raise a child in an environment of simplicity and justice.
