I'm Awake Now

Well, the short little nap I took seemed to help a bit. I am still unbearably exhausted, but Andiclaus and I both have the day off tomorrow and I intend to spend the first half of it in bed. Asleep. Cathcing up on the hours of missed sleep due to moving stress.

Anyway, did you see that Amalah gave me another shout-out on her website? Holy crap! People come visit me when she does that. And I'm never really prepared. What should I wear?

I never really thought she would say anything on her site about the blanket. I figured she might cry (handmade things make soon-to-be moms do that often), maybe send me a thank you note, even visit my site and leave me a nice comment. I did not expect not one, but two, shout-outs.

Here's the thing. Amalah's was the first site I read that really made me want to share my life with the Internet people. How is it possible that she now knows my name and that I changed websites?

This is so weird. But, um, welcome. Please leave a note. My blogroll is really not long enough and I would love to add you to it.

Love your gravestone AND the blanket!

I read Amalah's site and think your blanket really is lovely. I attempted crocheting in college but never finished a project. I still have a blanket-in-progress that kind of covers my lap. Maybe someday....

Love the new site. The design is very nice. Hope you're feeling better enough so that you can enjoy both of your new places (blogspace and new home).

Yes, I'm coming to comment on the blanket as well. Very thoughtful of you. I'm with Amalah, though, I don't know nothing 'bout makin' no blankets - crochet, macrame, knitting, looming - it's all yarn to me!

I love the new site!! Get lots of rest before you start school, I start orientation tomorrow and I can't believe that my summer is gone. Love ya!

again, beautiful blanket! You are so talented!

And I am LOVING the new site! A is the best. Is he available for hire? I am terribly bored of my current site, blah. And zoot is so backed up!

Congrats on the move and the new page!

Someone sent me some IKEA knife magnets once but no one ever sent me something they made themselves.

Very sweet of you. You're not a ho ho ho at all!

I'm also here by way of Amalah - and since I can't find any contact information to email you I thought I'd ask here in the comments. Can you please please please tell me the name of the pattern book you got the pattern from for Amy's blanket (and the publisher so I can order it)? I adore it and want to make it for my best friend.
